Personal-property liens file here. Land stays at the county.
The Florida Secured Transaction Registry is the clerk for Article 9 financing statements against personal property. Florida UCC, LLC has operated it as a DOS contractor since 1 Oct 2001. The statute is still ch. 679.
Map the clerk. Do not file a UCC-1 and do not certify a search. Fixture filings and timber/as-extracted statements file with the county recorder. Judgment liens file on Sunbiz. Three clerks.

Statute
- Fla. Stat. ch. 679. UCC Article 9 as enacted in Florida.
- §679.525. Processing fees. Nonrefundable. Fixture-kind initial statements use chapter 28 instead.
- §679.5021(3). Mortgage-as-fixture-filing / as-extracted / timber — county recorder.
- §679.3121. Perfection methods. Deposit accounts perfect by control, not by this registry.
Watch
- Debtor name is the search. LoPucki, Florida Law Review 76: 32% of FSTR filings against registered organizations were ineffective for name errors under Florida's zero-tolerance test. Use the exact Sunbiz legal name, including suffixes.
- Privatized registry. DOS privatized filing and maintenance effective 1 Oct 2001. Florida UCC, LLC runs floridaucc.com. The clerk of the statute is still chapter 679.
- Seller-carry notes. A recorded PMM is a county instrument. A UCC-1 against business assets or a note as chattel paper is this registry — if the debtor name is right. Sit next to Seller-Carry Protocol.
